Grizzly Industrial G0970 band saw
Grizzly Industrial Inc. has released the G0970 14-in. vertical metal cutting band saw, which offers a 6-in.-maximum cutting height to cut a wide variety of metal stock types and thicknesses. Line Steel
The saw features a motor gear reduction drive for the slower speeds required for precision metal cutting. At 161, 270, and 378 FPM, it cuts smoothly without overheating the blade or workpiece, according to the manufacturer.
Features include tungsten carbide guide blocks, a heavy-duty cast-iron fence, a flexible LED work light, and an aluminum miter gauge. The cast-iron table, heavy-duty steel stand, and cast-iron wheels help minimize vibration and increase accuracy for the lowest-tolerance cuts. A quick-release blade tensioner helps speed up blade changes.
